Are you in financial trouble? Learn how to recognize the danger signals

  • Your wages have been garnisheed to pay for outstanding debts;
  • You pay only monthly interest or service charges and are unable to reduce your total debt over several months;

Credit Counselling

Credit Counselling Canada

Credit Counselling Canada / Conseil de Credit du Canada (CCC), is a non-profit organization, established in 2000 and governed by a volunteer board of directors. CCC was created to provide a forum for not-for-profit credit counselling agencies and provincially legislated Orderly Payment of Debt programs from across Canada to work together to increase consumer awareness of available assistance programs, and to develop national standards in not-for-profit credit counselling.

The CCC website allows you to select your province which then links to resources in your region. All of the organizations that are linked to this site are accredited non-profit organizations, and most provide either face to face or toll-free assistance over the telephone.
