August 18, 2010: This award-winning workshop provides clear strategies and practical tools for operational managers and union leaders. Develop your skills and comfort level to more effectively manage employees experiencing emotional distress. Topics include noticing changes in employee behaviour, communicating with the employee, dealing with performance, co-worker responses, and developing accommodations.

We go into workplaces where managers are trying to improve relationships with employees who appear stressed out......either from personal issues or a mental illness that requires treatment. We use a 4 step approach that allows the employee and the manager to work out a solution together, one that works for both of them.
