Psychological Health & Safety in the workplace

An overview of the 15 psychosocial factors that affect well-being in healthcare workplaces and an introduction to the National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health & Safety in the Workplace.

By the end of this session, participants will:

  • Understand the purpose of the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace and list at least two benefits of implementing The Standard.  
  • Be able to identify the 13 psychosocial factors from the National Standard of Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace.  
  • Understand three ways an employee can contribute to Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace.
