About

Mental Health Works is a national social enterprise of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), with the head office at CMHA Ontario Division. We provide workplace mental health training to organizations nationwide.

Background and mission

Mental Health Works is a social enterprise of the Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario Division. CMHA is one of the oldest continuing nationwide charitable health organizations in Canada. Our workshops are person-centred, evidence-based, and solutions-focused. Our mission is to make mental health work for employers and employees from coast-to-coast, in both English and French.

The recognition and willingness to address workplace mental health is greater than ever, but we acknowledge there is much more to be done. Mental Health Works is dedicated to advancing the field of workplace mental health through skills-enhancement training, awareness education, and stigma reduction.

Mental Health Works Facilitators

Mental Health Works trainers are given extensive training and ongoing professional development to deliver workplace mental health training and workshops to businesses across Canada. Courses are for psycho-educational purposes only and are not clinical or support groups. Trainers come from a variety of backgrounds, including business, consulting and healthcare. All trainers are employed or contracted by CMHA’s across the country. Our trainers have a high skill set and are experts in workplace mental health.
