Our Workshops

Mental Health Works offers a suite of workshops that focus on specific mental health issues common to many workplaces, including Managing Stress, Mental Health and  Hybrid Work, Burnout, Harm Reduction, and many more. You can have us present on any of our individual workshops or combine them into a series of workshops that address issues relevant to your organization.

We also have a leadership-based workshop, designed specifically for managers/leaders, to help them support staff experiencing mental health challenges.

All modules can be delivered virtually or in-person (additional travel costs) and are suitable for any audience size.

Collaboration

During our initial consultation, we’ll work with you to better understand your organization’s mental health needs and suggest workshop topics that closely align with those needs. We’ll also provide you with accessible delivery options to ensure that everyone in your organization can fully participate in sessions.

Our Three-Gear Approach

Discover the benefits of continued employee well-being through Mental Health Works’ three-gear approach.

Building Awareness

You want to build awareness of mental health in your workplace. Our modules focus on teaching what mental health and mental illnesses are, and what they’re not. The primary goal of awareness building is to educate and reduce stigma, which creates safe spaces, increases help seeking, and enables prevention.

Responding

You want the people in your workplace to have practical skills for responding to situations involving mental health problems and illnesses. Our modules address topics such as trauma and discrimination and teach skills in self-reflection, how to have challenging conversations and how to implement solutions.

Collaborating

You want to make your workplace more psychologically healthy and safe. Our modules focus on issues such as organizational culture, accommodation and return to work. The National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace is featured. The primary goal of collaborating is to create positive change in workplace culture, teach resiliency, and ensure a safe environment for staff, stakeholders, and customers.
